Today in class, Officer Berti the school SRO came to talk to students about CyberSafety. She presented a powerpoint and entertained questions at the end. Students were very engaged and found her talk quite relevant.
We will begin Bits and Pieces II in math tomorrow. This unit focuses on adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions.
Social Studies: Students are learning about Peru. We are also discussing population density. Students explored a national geographic website about Peru and then shared some facts they learned. They completed 2 worksheets about Peru. One was a note taking worksheet. The other was an open book multiple choice quiz. Tomorrow we will start learning about Chile.
Science; Today we took our respiratory quiz and we will begin learning about the circulatory system tomorrow.
Tomorrow there will be a school-wide assembly as part of wellness week. Ask your child for details.
